Simplus builds a Coronavirus Management Cloud Solution in Collaboration with Salesforce
With the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Simplus, an Infosys company collaborates with Salesforce for a Vaccine management solution. This solution is built on Salesforce in support of Work.com to help the US government distribute coronavirus vaccines in the states. To deliver it, Simplus’s capabilities and resources are collaborated with Salesforce’s product expertise, consulting, and product expertise.
Built on the Salesforce Platform, Infosys’ end-to-end vaccine management solution incorporates a broad spectrum of vaccine management. Starting from citizen registration, provider enrollment, campaign management, prioritization, provider enrollment, forecasting, wellness surveys, supply chain visibility, vaccine administration, to adverse event monitoring. Hence, to support compliance with applicable laws such as HIPAA, this solution is also integrated with Salesforce Health Cloud.
“As we work towards a global solution during the pandemic, the importance of a robust vaccine management solution cannot be overstated,” says Ryan Westwood, CEO of Simplus. “We are thrilled to bring life-changing solutions to protect our communities.”
This solution entails two communities:
- Residents: A one-stop-shop for the individuals to schedule vaccine appointments, register with state and local governments and find information.
- Providers: It is the central hub for providers to help them manage appointments, log vaccine administration details, apply to become a COVID-19 vaccine provider, maintain inventory, and document adverse effects
Infosys’ vaccine management solution also leverages Salesforce’s other products and services. For example, its Marketing Cloud uses providers’ and residents’ data from the Health Cloud. That helps to manage advocacy to resident populations, manage initial outreach, and follow-up communication about adverse reactions, scheduling, and more.
“We are excited about Infosys’ vaccine management solution built on the Salesforce Platform,” says Tyler Prince, EVP of Partners and Industries, Salesforce.
