Salesforce Spring ’21 Release: Top 7 Highlights

1. Manual Sharing:
Salesforce is bringing this functionality in Lightning Experience that allows admins to manage who the record is shared with and share any associated records. This makes it easier for admins who are tired of switching back to classic to share records and manage record share.
2. Salesforce Meetings
Salesforce is changing the way sales reps engage with their clients. So, to make Salesforce meetings better, the CRM giant has planned to bring new functionality. Meeting Digest and Meeting Studio are coming together to give us a preview. Sadly, they won’t be generally available, but you will be able to try them as beta, pilot, or preview.
- Meeting Digest– This is a part of Salesforce Meetings that allows sales reps to see insights before a meeting. They can know who all are attending the meeting, reminders about meeting invitation responses and details, and any other activity.
- Meeting Studio– This innovation helps prospects and customers beautifully engage during meetings. Reps can show their camera and presentation in the same window to keep the meetings flowing. Also, this helps to avoid any awkward transitions that may occur while switching the content.
3. Salesforce Flow Updates
Salesforce has rebranded its Lightning Flow to Salesforce Flow. This will take care of your processes and flows.
Screen elements with multiple columns- Admins can now configure screens; also, add up to 12 columns on a page.
Allows you to access prior values in a record-triggered flow.
With time-based flows, admins can configure flows to execute an action at a particular time. Also, this was previously available only through the process builder.
Rich text emails- admins can now even have control over how their mails look and feel.
4. Einstein Opportunity Scoring
Salesforce platform is all about changes and improvements. It has been constantly improving its Einstein Artificial Intelligence, now focusing on smaller orgs and those who are new to the platform.
Earlier, an org needed at least 2000 closed opportunities to turn on Einstein Opportunity Scoring. But now, Einstein has the benefit of a global scoring model that uses anonymous aggregated data to allow everyone to score their opportunities.
5. Opportunity Product Enhancements
With this feature, Your sales team can now have more flexibility to track information on opportunity product records. You can also create a lookup relationship between any standard or custom object and Opportunity Product.
6. Lightning Page Performance
With this feature, you can get a better understanding of page load time and page behavior predictions using visuals metrics like a gauge and bar graph. Thus, allowing you to collect better metrics around your Lightning Page Performance.
7. In-App Learning
This feature has a new Guidance Center that provides an In-App learning experience for Salesforce users. Also, allows admins to utilize public trailhead modules or myTrailhead modules to create Learning Paths. Moreover, you can use this tool to enhance internal training programs that are specific to your organization’s needs.
