Siemens and Salesforce collaborate to ensure businesses reopen with a safe workplace

While businesses are reimagining the future workplace experience and putting the health and safety of their first, Salesforce and Siemens have partnered up to enable businesses to reopen safely with its new workplace technology suite. Their strategic partnership puts Salesforce Work.com and Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure solutions, including Comfy and Enlighted on the table. These combined tools and solutions will aid in delivering safe and connected workplaces for the future.

Enhance workplace safety!

Siemens is contributing Enlighted, its IoT solutions company and Comfy, workplace experience solution. Enlighted’s cloud-connected smart sensors will gather data and its IoT platform will create ‘sensory systems’ throughout the building. This will deliver real-time insights to analyze how the building is being used and will offer occupancy and locations services.

Comfy workplace experience solution, on the other hand, provides an employee-facing app to provide a safe workplace. This app will help businesses to keep their teams informed and aligned by enabling them to view and reserve desks and meeting rooms in real-time and search or navigate health and safety facilities.

Salesforce recently launched Salesforce work.com in the light of COVID-19 to empower businesses and communities around the globe to reopen the workplace safely during this crisis and beyond. Powered by Customer 360, Work.com is a suite of essential solutions and resources designed to help businesses reopen safely and seamlessly.

It allows businesses to make data-driven decisions, track health-related interactions, monitor return-to-work readiness, streamline shift management, and create a ‘command center’ to manage post-coronavirus operations with its Contact Tracing, Workplace Command Center, Rapid Crisis Response, and Emergency Response Managemen

Joint solutions built from Siemens and Salesforce technologies.

  • Create a ‘touchless office environment’ with mobile employee boarding passes for building and elevator entry.
  • A safe occupancy management system, that enables employees to reserve conference rooms and desks with an app that will send real-time alerts when thresholds are reached.
  • Augment advanced manual contact tracing for faster and accurate emergency response. (This is an opt-in solution)
  • Enable businesses to make data-driven decisions and create a flexible framework for future workplace experience with real-time insights and analysis.

These new solutions will be deployed in Siemens’ Zug, Switzerland offices, and Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
