In October 2020, Tableau at its annual conference announced that it is combining Tableau and Salesforce’s Einstein Analytics to launch the broadest and deepest analytics platform in the market.

Tableau will be the analytics brand for Salesforce. Einstein Analytics to be renamed as Tableau CRM. Above all, It will continue to provide insightful analytics and powerful AI experience in the Salesforce CRM workflow.

Tableau enables its customer to gather deep insights from any data, anywhere with its visual analytics and powerful data exploration. Also, It is the world’s leading analytics platform, the gold standard in self-service analytics. Customers all around the world use Tableau to serve a broad set of use cases across the organization.

On the other hand, Salesforce Einstein Analytics is a native Salesforce solution that delivers actionable and AI-powered analytics. This solution enables the customers to work more efficiently, receive timely recommendations, and predict outcomes all within their workflow.

With AI-powered analytics, Einstein Discovery helps organizations to democratize data science across their organization. As a result, it allows the managers to discover relevant patterns automatically based on their data. All of this without engaging with data scientists or building data models.

Future Plans

Continuing to innovate and unify going forward, the future alignment plans include:

  • Firstly, taking advantage of the native Salesforce integration with security and performance optimizations by joining Tableau natively to the Einstein Analytics data store.
  • Secondly, ensuring ready for analysis, clean, and trusted data accessible to everyone with data preparation capabilities that will read and write to both Tableau and Einstein Analytics platforms.
  • In addition, Streamlining the creation of dashboards for easy access with content portability between Tableau and Einstein Analytics.

    Hence, this integration of Einstein Discovery’s powerful predictions platforms adds to the range of augmented analysis and will help people to get more value from their data.
