Sales Cloud – Release Readiness, Salesforce Summer ’20 Comprehensive Keynotes

The new Salesforce Summer ’20 releases the features for Sales Cloud on improving relationships, boosting productivity, and growing a pipeline. Without further ado, let’s dig into it.

Opportunity Management

  • Higher Opportunity Split Limit – The split limit has been increased from 5 to 8 giving you the ability to meet more complex teams’ selling business requirements.

  • Setup Big Deal Alerts in Lightning – This is a classic feature that allows you to send email notifications when large opportunities are created.

Territory Management

  • Rename Territory Object and Field Labels – You can now use the naming convention in your organization to customize the labels for territory objects and field names.

  • Access options for territory opportunity assignments – You can choose the access level that users get to the opportunities assigned to their territories.

Task Management

  • Assign Tasks to Queues from Quick Actions – No longer navigating away to create tasks for queues, you can do it from records pages (Activity Actions) and also from anywhere in Lightning (Global Actions).

  • Push Notification for Salesforce Mobile App [Closed Pilot] – Reps can receive task and event reminders as a push notification via Salesforce Mobile App.

Kanban

  • Configure Key Fields and Guidance – Give your users a consistent experience when updating records in kanban or path.

  • Celebrations – Setup a confetti top and reward your team for their success.

Outlook and Gmail Integrations

  • Track Email Engagement Across Applications – A new Feed tab that unifies tracking information across Outlook or Gmail, Lightning Experience, and High-Velocity Sales.

  • Insert Text Shortcuts with Keyboard Code in Gmail – Reps can now insert their favorite snippets of text by typing a keyboard code when composing an email.

Email in Lightning

  • Cadence emails in the same thread – Send cadence emails as replies to previously sent emails giving their recipients a conversational view of the thread.

  • Review detailed engagement for email records – Reps with an HVS or inbox license can now view full lists on email engagement on email records.

Updates on Cadence Builder

  • New cadence access control.
  • Expanded exit criteria to ensure prospects are in the right cadences based on their engagement.
  • Ability to branch cadences on email replies to deliver a personalized prospecting.
  • Leverage Einstein Activity Capture to provide real-time alerts for email engagements and track insights on customer emails.
  • View and send emails as a thread so reps can maintain contact throughout their prospect engagements.
  • Ability to skip cadence steps so the reps can reach out on their own terms.

Einstein Call Coaching for HVS

  • Gain Visibility into Sales Calls – Analyse inside sales teams call recording and serve as insights to sales managers.
  • Unlock Hidden Insights – Analyse calls to see how insight trends over time.
  • Full Call Coverage – Integrates seamlessly with Lightning Dialer and partners with other CTI providers.
  • Boost Coaching Productivity – Save time by only listening to the important sentiment of the calls.
  • New Moments Surfaced Automatically – Detects pricing discussions, product mentions, and next steps automatically opening up new opportunities.
  • Accelerate Onboarding & Enablement – Sales managers can easily pick any topic they would like to listen to and jump directly to the relevant part of the conversation topic that is mentioned.

Einstein Opportunity Scoring

  • Now looks at Product, Quote, and Price Book objects in addition to standards and customer fields in opportunity objects.

Salesforce Einstein Lead Scoring

  • Deliver accurate scores for all with Lead Scoring Global Models. Now any customer can use Lead Scoring product regardless of their data size and history.

Einstein Accounts Insights

  • A new cutting cost insight that helps sales teams stay aware of key business development regarding their key accounts by letting reps know when companies are cutting costs.

Sales Cloud Einstein Readiness Assessor

  • Emails threading – Emails are not threaded in the email detail page. Emails are not threaded either when the Einstein activity Capture is disabled.

  • EWS Proxy (Exchange Endpoint) – Setup a Microsoft Exchange endpoint to provide you with more control on how you’ll connect with your email server.
