If you looking to update your open Opportunity Amount on Account in Salesforce, you have arrived at the right place!

  1. Using the Rollup Summary field

A Rollup summary field shows the sum, minimum, or maximum value of a field in a related list. However, there is a limitation of 25 rollup summary fields per object, but this number can be increased up to 40.
