Salesforce partners are extending the power of Salesforce’s cloud-based solutions
In the wake of COVID-19, the world is trying to navigate through this crisis for the better part of the year and the organizations are ramping up their digital transformations. Cloud solutions have been the demand of many companies due to the migration of the projects and the seamless functioning of the remote workforce.
Cloud computing is here to stay and the Salesforce ecosystem reinforces that. Employing the power of Salesforce, Salesforce partners have to build cloud-based solutions for the customers across industries allowing them to navigate through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 efficiently. Leading the charge of innovation in the crisis mode and stabilizing the businesses are two partners – nCino and OwnBackup.
nCino launched PPP workflow
nCino has been a Salesforce partner since 2011. It is an innovator in the financial services space and has built its entire business on Salesforce. When the COVID-19 outbreak hit, small businesses took a massive hit. So, the US government announced the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) that gives loans to the businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to keep them afloat in the crisis. While this was good news for the business owners, the banks required a massive digital transformation practically overnight.
nCino’s Bank Operating System® came to the rescue. With the flexibility and scalability of Salesforce, it provides a unified solution to the banks that enables them to onboard, open accounts, lend, and do so much more and connect to all the customers all through one platform.
With the launch of the CARES Act, nCino launched the PPP workflow. It simplifies the process of government-backed loans for the lenders and guides them through credit and eligibility decisions.
“When the government announced the lending program was coming and when the funding actually started, it was chaotic. People were applying for those loans around the clock until the money drained out. It was our goal to the route as many of those applications through nCino as possible because we felt strongly that we had the best customer-centric, streamlined experience,” said Sean Desmond, Chief Customer Success Officer at nCino. “Ultimately, our customers processed over 350,000 applications during the PPP loan period, amounting to more than $50 billion in total funding that they were able to route to their customers. It was an incredibly proud moment for nCino to have participated.”
OwnBackup launched Resources for Businesses
OwnBackup is a renowned backup and disaster recovery system across the industries and has been a Salesforce partner since 2015. It provides automated daily backups, sandbox seeding and replication, compares and restore for disaster recovery, secure key management, and GDPR compliance.
At the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, OwnBackup added a resource page on Salesforce AppExchange called COVID-19 Resources for Businesses. It enables customers to connect with the partner solutions that can help them navigate through this pandemic and take critical business decisions during this difficult time.
“As companies had to adapt to working remotely within days, they realized that there’s more that can go wrong with a remote workforce – teams are more dispersed, there’s less oversight, and some of the in-office security precautions like IP restrictions had to very quickly be loosened,” said Sam Gutman, CEO of OwnBackup. “When you combine those risk factors with the need to accelerate your digital transformation, the peace of mind that you can achieve success securely is imperative. Having OwnBackup in place allows you to be more confident in your acceleration.”
