Winter is coming!! Predictions for Salesforce Winter 21 Release
2020 has frankly been a terrible year. But hey, the ‘winter is coming’. With winter around the corner, it’s time for us Salesforce fans to be excited because like every other year, Salesforce is going to treat us with its new features and tools for us!
The Salesforce Winter ‘21 release date is out!
With Salesforce Winter ‘21 release, you will be able to play with its new features and functionalities.
Aiming to deliver innovations to help you connect with your customers from anywhere, here are some of the following predictions for Salesforce Winter ‘21 release.
1. Multi-factor authentication
Salesforce is going to add extra protection to your accounts against phishing attacks and credential stuffing with Multi-factor authentication. It is the second layer of protection that will require the Salesforce Authenticator app or a physical security key.
With these multiple factors required to log into the account, your Salesforce Implementation services will be safe and secured against threats.
2. Two-factor authentication will be renamed
With the launch of multi-factor authentication, Salesforce will rename its retired two-factor authentication to multi-factor authentication. The two-factor user permissions will also be renamed in the Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. The change is only in the name, other functionalities will remain the same.
3. Customer 360 guide
Salesforce will introduce Customer 360 guides that will help c-suite executives, architects, leaders, and developers in driving the digital transformation and engaging with the customers.
This guide will help in exploring the Salesforce cross-cloud architecture, transforming the customer experience, and solving complex business use cases.
4. In-Mail Survey
Salesforce will enable you to send personalized surveys in the email itself. Embedding the questions in the emails itself will give your respondents more personalized experience and increase the response rate exponentially.
5. Optimizer app’s functionalities will be enhanced
The optimizer app will have enhanced capabilities. Salesforce will add two functionalities to it. One would be a scheduled run which would automatically run the Optimizer App once a month and second would be Org Metric History. This will give you an overview of the impact of your actions on the storage and resources.
