Salesforce Marketing Cloud Release Notes July’20
Here are the latest updates and features on Salesforce Marketing Cloud! The 2020 Salesforce Marketing Release came out from July 25, 2020, through August 1, 2020.
Some of the new updates will be out for you within a week of the release.
Marketing Cloud Einstein
- Increased Push Message Engagement with Einstein STO
The Einstein Send Time Optimization (STO) dashboard allows you to identify the probability of a push notification to be opened on a particular day or time.
- Einstein in Interaction Studio
You can now recommend personalized offers and campaign content to your customers as per their preferences using Einstein in the Interaction Studio.
Marketing Cloud App and Setup
- New Permissions for Interaction Studio
The new version of the Interaction Studio allows businesses to get a comprehensive view of every customer and prospect. It allows you to deliver data at key moments across the customer journey to deliver relevant experiences.
- Marketing Cloud Account Security with Multi-Factor Authentication
Ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of your data, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is launched to secure your Marketing Cloud. This feature will roll out in August 2020.
Marketing Cloud Developers
- Link Journeys to Transactional Messaging REST API Send Definitions
The new Marketing Cloud update allows you to link journeys to Transactional Messaging REST API Send Definitions.
Marketing Cloud Cross-Cloud Integrations
- A/B test feature in the Marketing Cloud Connect
Marketing Cloud Connect A/B Test Email depends on the Email Studio Classic Content. Since the Create Classic Email will retire in January 2021, A/B Test Email Sends in Sales and Service Cloud will also retire.
- Connect Interaction Studio with Sales and Service Cloud
You can now connect Interaction Studio with Sales and Service Cloud which allows you to deliver personalized and highly relevant customer experience during the key moments of interaction across the customer journey.
- Deep Links Removed from Marketing Cloud Connect Pages Removed
The new update has removed the “Go-To Marketing Cloud” from various pages of the Marketing Cloud Connect app in Sales and Service Cloud in the October release to improve security.
Marketing Cloud Data Management
- Detect Synchronized Entity Data Type Mismatch
The synchronized entity can now detect any modification to a field data type of a synchronized data extension to prevent errors. It also stops the field to sync and sync the entity for all the valid fields.
- Retain Relationships Between Synchronized Entities
You can now keep your data models consistent by allowing the Synchronized Entities new relationships to retain original relationships.
Marketing Cloud Journeys and Messages
- jQuery Library has been removed from CloudPages
The jQuery libraries for Smart Capture forms in CloudPages will be updated In the October 2020 release. Except for the newer versions, others will be removed.
