As Day One of Dreamforce 2022 unfolded, major innovations including the launching of the world’s first real-time CRM platform were announced. Salesforce Genie: World’s first real-time CRM Platform

Salesforce unveiled Genie, a hyper-scale real-time data platform that supercharges Customer 360’s capabilities. Basically, Salesforce Genie brings together all your customer data across any channel into a single, real-time customer portfolio, so that you get a more intelligent, and real-time experience every time across Customer 360. Not only this, Salesforce extends the power of Genie to every cloud and industry, including new integrations with partners, to help businesses deliver impactful experiences that are relevant and personalized.

How does Genie work?

Running on Hyperforce public cloud infrastructure and having inbuilt connectors, Genie brings data from every channel, including historical data and legacy data via Mulesoft. Genie then evolves and syncs the data into a real-time graph that can be viewed and taken action on, across the entire Customer 360, AppExchange, custom apps, and every industry solution.

With Genie,

  • Salesforce Einstein can predict and suggest actions in real-time
  • Salesforce Flow automation can utilize real-time information to trigger actions automatically
  • Sales, Service, and Marketing teams can win deals and deliver more impactful personalized customer service and messages respectively.

Salesforce teams up with major data players
To further enhance the impact of Genie, Salesforce partners with prime data players like SnowFlake and Amazon SageMaker.

New features in Slack HQ

To drive value out of its most expensive acquisition, Slack, Salesforce announced new product innovations in the digital HQ. Now working together on Slack becomes more productive by pulling data directly from customer 360.

The new enhancements are:

  • Slack Canvas: This new feature will accelerate selling by surfacing key customer insights that the entire account team can use and update. With canvas, you can share files, curate lists of relevant channels, implement workflows, and access data from Sales Cloud.
  • Slack Huddles: Huddling on Slack becomes more convenient with new multi-person screen sharing, video conferencing, and messaging thread features.
  • New Slack Platform: Built for developers, this platform comes with tools and modular and reusable building blocks to create, customize and share automation.

Salesforce partnership with WhatsApp

Salesforce and WhatsApp entered into a new partnership enabling Salesforce customers to engage with their customers on WhatsApp and deliver meaningful messaging experiences.

Salesforce offers WhatsApp-first business messaging as a new path to selling & marketing products and providing support right from a conversation to increase engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction for both the brand and the customer.

New Integrations between Salesforce and AWS Sage Maker

Salesforce and AWS expanded their partnership by announcing new integrations between Salesforce and AWS Sage Maker. With the new integrations, customers will be able to use Amazon SageMaker and Salesforce’s AI technology, Einstein, to develop new AI models that fit their specific business needs and use them in real-time across the Customer 360. Salesforce also launched a privacy-safe integration with Amazon Ads to help businesses enable Amazon Marketing Cloud’s aggregated insights and advertising activation features
